Box Elder, Tooele and Cache counties are home to Utah's three largest fires, during this worst stretch of the fire season, since it began three months ago.
A blaze on the Utah-Idaho border is the largest, at 21,000 acres. It's now 45% contained, and not threatening any structures or people.
West of Tooele City, a wildfire doubled in size -- over 24 hours -- to more than 6000 acres. It continues to threaten homes in Tiny Terra, and on the Goshute Indian Reservation. It's just 5% contained.
And in Cache County, a 2200-acre fire is now 10% contained, and still has Millville Canyon closed.
