Pink's "Beam Me Up" is one of the most moving and emotional songs I have heard in awhile. One of those songs you don't just HEAR ... you FEEL it. A song about losing someone ... the loss of a child. Every parent’s worst nightmare. Hard to listen to this and NOT cry. I will be honest and say as much as I love this song, there are times I will play this song on the radio and have to turn the volume down in the studio, because it will make me think too much. Makes me think about how much I love my son Ryder, about parents who have had to deal with losing a child and more specifically ... all those parents in Connecticut who are dealing with their loss. My heart breaks for them. What an amazing song Pink. This song makes me think of the quote " Music is what feelings sound like". That is so true.
