On March 15th, 2013, at the age of 23 months, Karter Zachreson passed away peacefully in his home. Karter was loved so much by his Parents, Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends. Karter always had a smile on his face and no matter where he was his presence was always felt due to his kind, warm heart and happy outlook towards life. Words at this point cannot even describe the pain and suffering that Karter's parents are feeling. The thought of a child at such a young age leaving this earth creates not only frustration, but deep sorrow, pain, and confusion. However, what needs to be remembered is that God has a plan for each and every one of us. He paves a way to eternal happiness. Family is the foundation of life. This tragic event may have not happened when Karter's parents would have liked, but families will be together forever though Heavenly Father's plan. Karter was so blessed to have such strong, amazing parents that cared and loved for him each and every day. Karter's life on earth may have been short, but the time his parents will have with him in their eternal life will be forever. Karter will be missed by so many. At this time, please keep the parents of Karter Zachreson in your prayers.

In January of 2013, Karter was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis. Neurofibromatosis causes tissue along the nerves to grow uncontrollably. This growth can put pressure on affected nerves. It can cause pain, severe nerve damage, and loss of function in the area served by the nerve. The condition can be very different from person to person. In Karter's case, a tumor developed right below his vocal cords which caused Karter to have a very difficult time breathing. Karter's parents took him to many specialists and spent a tremendous amount of money in medical expenses. With that being said, a charitable account has been set up in Karter's behalf that will help cover Karter’s medical expenses while he was at the Primary Children’s Hospital for two weeks as well as all the funeral related expenses. You can walk into any America First Credit Union and donate to the Karter Zachreson charitable account or you can also transfer funds electronically into account number 9058579. Please notate that if you decide to transfer funds electronically the “last” name on the account is “Zachreson Charitable Account”. Please share this page to all family members and friends as help at this time is greatly needed. Karter will never be forgotten and his sweet spirit will never leave here on earth. Rest in peace Karter Zachreson.
