Katie grew up in Madison, WI and started her radio career after finishing a communications degree at UW-Madison. Right after graduating and finishing her internship (which was initially for promotions) she decided on-air was where it's at. Katie jumped right in as the night chick at an alternative rock station and one year later, she moved to middays at Z-104, a heritage Top-40 radio station in Madison…and the station she grew up listening to! Although she is a true Wisconsin girl she turned in her faux fur snow boots after 4 years & moved to Tampa, FL and the world-famous 93-3 FLZ. Since then, Katie has been spreading glitter all over the Tampa Bay midday airwaves...as well as hosting shows in several other markets. Katie brings it all to the radio: a girlie-girl with a smart mouth and no problem sharing opinions on television (reality TV, hello!), celebrities & fashion, pop culture, friends, relationships, fun, shopping and everything fabulous.
