I was born in Detroit, Michigan back in 71'. I come from an Irish/Italian family… ma's Italian, dad's Irish. They still live back in Detroit. I have one older brother, Mike, he lives in NYC with his wife Joanna and my nephew Jakie . Got into radio back in 89' right out of High School, which was a relief to my parents… that I actually made it through High School! While in school I had some REAL jobs… like schlepping sporting goods or throwing bags at Detroit Metro Airport. It didn't take long to realize I wasn't cut out for manual labor! That's when I decided to get into radio. I interned & worked at stations in and around Detroit. From there I went to Ft. Myers & Jacksonville, Florida, DC then to Charlotte. If you take anything away from this - Never quit a job without another one lined up!! Luckily ZHT was desperate and so was I!! That was back in October of 97' and I have been here ever since. I'm engaged to Michele... she has 2 boys... 2 dogs and a cat... I have 2 dogs and a cat. It sounds like The Hogle Zoo huh!?
If they made the 97.1 ZHT movie my part would be played by…
I would hope a young Steve Martin, but we all know he's gettin' old…
What is your theme song?
Probably CREEP from RadioHead!
What is your favorite junk food?
I've cut back on fast food... bigtime! I watched about half of the movie Super Size Me back in the fall of 2004... and that was it. It freaked me out. I still love chocolate and other sweets though! And i'm a big fan of sugary cereals!!
If you were not a DJ, what would you be?
Probably holding you up and taking your wallet!!
What made you get into radio?
Not wanting to do manual labor!!
Favorite place to hang out when not working?
Hanging at the house with the dogs!
Favorite web site?
I'd better not say! Especially the way the FCC is crackin down!!

Favorite vacation destination?
Toledo... It's beautiful this time of year! Seriously… I love Florida!

Craziest thing you've ever done?
Rollerbladed from Salt Lake to Vegas... 546 miles in 11 days. And DB & I hitchhiked from Bangor, Maine to Salt Lake City in just under 7 days... over 2700 miles!! It was a CRAZY journey… we ended up RUNNING from a trucker in Ohio!!
If you won a Grammy who would you thank?
Everyone I could think of... they'd have to YANK me off the stage
Favorite food?
I love authentic italian!! And sushi too... Ginsa, Tsunami or Ichiban!! Can't get enough!
If you could go on a date with ANYONE you wanted (dead or alive), who would it be?
Betty Rubble. She was much hotter than Wilma! And I love her LAUGH!!
Favorite TV show?
As far as newer shows.... I love King of Queens! Chapelle's new show is funny! I also love South Park and still dig watching old episodes of Seinfeld too!! In the serious category I'd have to say The Sopranos!
What was your first concert?
The J.Geils Band at Pine Knobb in Detroit in 84'
Most embarrassing moment?
Walking in on my ma & dad when I was 12 was pretty embarrassing. I'm still in therapy for that one
Who are your personal heroes?
The whole disturbing "walking in on them" when I was 12 thing aside... I'd have to say my ma & dad! As cheesy as it sounds… they're pretty cool to me.

What is your favorite 97.1 ZHT moment?
Finishing the rollerblading trek to Vegas and hitching our way back home to Salt Lake from Maine!!

I hate when you let someone get into your lane, in traffic, and they DON'T give ya the wave to say thanks!
What are your hobbies?
I like to hike & camp… I'm digging my new Rubicon… I like to mess around on my skateboard. I also like to snowboard… hang with my dogs… and play the guitar. And sometimes just doin' absolutely NOTHING…That's nice too.
