Bank errors! Did you have money that wasn't your deposited into your account? What did you do with it? I work in a bank and i have been known to put money in the wrong account.... Oops:) When I bought my house the title company put an extra zero in the amount it was suppose to be about 15k they deposited 115000 I had 2k show up in my account when I was 18. I went into the bank the next day and told them. Someone had made a deposit and our account numbers were similar and it ended up in my checking account 1200 extra in account closed it that day at boa been with wells fargo since 13 yrs The IRS paid us our tax refund twice, sadly it was only 200 bucks and the bank caught it I work at a bank and I have had tellers deposit up to $10,000 into the wrong account. We fix the deposit usually within 24 hours but more than once that money has been spent so those people go into the negative. I randomly got two paychecks in my account on the same day. Both verified through company. Took it as a summer bonus! i work at a bank and accidentally put 5000 in the wrong account once! I didn't know until a guy called in asking where his money was. I got in an accident. My insurance company paid to fix it. Last week I got a check for 2900 from the other insurance company that hit me. Still have the check
