My mom works in a money room and she is counter fit money a lot---She has an office that has a volt in it. i call it a money room I received 205 dollars in fake money from someone I sold a laptop to on KSL. Bummer! I'm a teller and catch them all the time. I feel so bad for the merchant or customer who's out the money. It's next to impossible to prove how long its been floating around and who made it so all banks do is send it in to secret service. I used to get fake bills at my old work all the time, my boss finally arrested about 13 people and never let them back in. It was a bad deal. Friend sold her computer on ksl and guy payed in all counterfit bills. She didn't realize til too Late. My father is the owner of a carpet store and a customs paid $1,000 in cash. Well my dad took a hundred dollar bill to be the company lunch. Ordered food and waited, and waited for food wondering what was going on. All the sudden he was surrounded by cops everywhere. The $100 bill was counterfeit I work at a bank, it happens more then you think. It you ever wonder if a bill is fake take the bill to the bank and we can check one of the servers took a 100 that was fake. It was about 2 inches too short and an inch less in width. The manger was sooooooooooooooo mad cause it was so apparently fake and he was dumb enough to take it Some of my friends got ushered out of a movie because the bill they used to pay was a counterfeit. They thought it was for the candy bars they snuck in. My cousin has made fake money for years & still does to this day.. Ive seen the money & i cant tell the difference Got paid child support with fake twenties. I had no idea. My dad took it to the bank and they were like sir these are fake. I felt so bad. Sorry dad!
