Do you know someone who committed insurance fraud? Did you?

My aunt was part of an insurance fraud. She was gonna fake her death but unfortunately she ended up really getting killed. The guy who killed her (Who we think did it) is in prison for the insurance fraud but they cant convict him of the murder cuz no evidence.

a family friend was taking our insurance checks cashing them and taking the money to buy clothes and other B.S. she got fired from her job and got another in the same insurance industry.

I met a guy who couldn't pay his truck payment so he took the truck into the mountains and rolled it. Totalled the truck.

I had a dodge truck that had many issues and i owed a ton of money on it so i took it up the canyon. And rolled it off a cliff. I told my ins it came out of park and they paid it off

I have a family member who had wind damage 2 their siding on their house, the insurance co discovered a recall on the siding & they got a check 2 re-side the whole house, they bought the siding & sold 2 a friend 4 more money...now a few years later they have 2 reside the whole house out of thier own pocket

My dad has this beat up tank of a car and needed some money and followed a drunk coming out of a bar and slammed into him and took the guys insurance company to court and got 36k

My cousins in laws did ins fraud....I was told that when they ran into alot of money problems he planned it out. At the time no one knew but I guess like 5yrs later one of his family members spotted him in Costa rica his home but nobody knew anything about it...not even his wife. Now he comes to the states a couple times a year. I've met him a couple times but too scared to ask him about it lol

This guy i knew set his own car on fire with fireworks and blamed neighborhood kids just so he get money

People are doing a windshield repair then two weeks or a month later they call the insurance claim in again but they don't fix the chip again they're ripping off the client and the insurance company

My dad was playing pool with a guy in Chicago once and all of a sudden the guy started screaming" my restaurant is on fire" they ran outside the bar and at the end of the street was the guys restaurant and it was on fire. Needless to say the guy ended up getting a beautiful new restaurant. I guess his connections come through for him.

My mom and step dad robbed their own house to get remodeling money. We got new siding and bay windows.

My cousin was part of an insurance fraud... She was going to pretend to be my aunt to get some insurance to buy drugs and stuff but then his car was hit and totaled so he had to pay the car bill by pocket..

I once Was advised by my car loan lender to pay 6 months in advance on my insurance and then drive to downtown los angeles, leave the doors unlocked in the keys in the ignition and check on it everyday and when it was stolen I should report it stolen. problem is the engine was trash and I couldn't drive it that far. So instead I'll let them repo it.

I know someone who committed tax fraud of several million dollars and only has to serve 18 months in a white collar prison. Its similar to a summer camp. Cabins, games, no prison cells. Everything is open
