My husband will be flying back home from Texas on the morning of Sept 11th
My mom is flying home to salt lake from Odessa Texas. We were talking about it last night.
My dad's a flight attendant in New York and he will be flying back from the Middle East that day and out of New York that night.
My husband and i are. We got a really good deal for a trip we were going on and didnt realize the date was 9 11 until after we booked it.

I don't understand why everyone keeps talking about 9-11??? Why would you keep talking about the day us was put down? Almost like it's a holiday. Were just making osama more famous!

I sympathize with feeing residual fear from the events of 9/11, but at the same time, that sense of unrest amongst American citizens was the goal of the terrorists. We should resist that subterfuge by not giving the event more power of terror than it already has.

Every time I take my child on a plane I look with suspicion at everyone around me and I hate it! I will not live my life paralyzed by fear and I won't teach my child to live in fear either.
I had moved to utah 3 days before 9/11. My dad worked in the twin towers and would have likely been dead had we not moved. Crazy stuff!
