Maybe she can search for daycares and suggest them to the pregnant ones.
If they can afford to pay her to watch them, they can pay someone else.

My mother retired this yr and my sister just expects her 2 watch her kids ALL THE TIME! My mom has missed important dr appts because of it. It pisses me off.
Tell her to charge a monthly rate that is outrageous. Then they'll rethink it.
Tell Mrs. X to tell the freeloaders she'll be glad to wrath their kids and that she charge a ridiculously high daily rate. Her time is valuable too.
my aunt who is 47 expects my 78 year old grandma to babysit her kids who are 4 and 2 years old.... my grandma has said repeatedly that it is too much for her
She's screwed. People dont respect stay at home moms. They're looked at as noncontributors. Her husband even brought up the extra money.
I'm a teacher, everyday i have off my sister in saw expects me to babysit. I don't even have my own kids. I was in the hospital for a week and she brought her child over the day after and expected me to babysit.
She needs to stand up for herself. Even if their feelings get hurt, they'll get over it.
Mrs x: send the kid home each day with stained clothes, items missing from the diaper bag, and in poopy diapers. A few weeks of that you'll get fired:-)
You have to tell them that they need to pay you. You may be home, but that's not your job.

I had my best friend watching watching my daughter and I paid her the same I pay in daycare
She doesnt need to feel bad about not watching their kids! They are taking advantage of her! They know daycare is expensive! They are rippin her off!
My grandma is 83 yrs old & my cousin expects her to still watch her 2 kids & even all 4 of her kids. My Gradma has gotten hurt watching them it's ridiculous!

My cousins, wife's, brothers, wife expects me to watch their 3 kids under 3, weekly!
That's my sister. She's constantly expecting my mom to watch her son, even if she's home. Drives me nuts & another ones on the way. The boyfriend is a deadbeat.
How about a negotiation. Maybe one or two days a week she can help ber but not all week!

My Sister expects me to call into Work and ask for it off and not go to class to take care of her kids and if i say no she stops talking to me :/
I stay home with 2 girls and my neighbor expects me to watch there daughter cause I'm home..awwww
