My name is Autumn Thatcher and I am working with a pop-rock band called Cameron The Public, led by Utah native Cameron Rafati. The band is playing a benefit show on October 5, at the State Room, for the Tyler Robinson Foundation; a foundation created by the band members of Imagine Dragons. I was hoping that you may be interested in supporting the show by giving away tickets to the concert on-air. Cameron is also available to do a phone interview from LA prior to October 1, and will be in Salt Lake on October 1, if you want to have him in studio leading up to the show. Here is some information:
Imagine Dragons created the Tyler Robinson Foundation for Tyler Robinson, a Utah fan who grew to be an inspiration to them, and who died of cancer at the age of 17 earlier this year. Tyler Robinson was also Cameron Rafati of Cameron The Public's cousin. We are hoping to get the word out about this show to raise money for the foundation through $10 ticket sales. The foundation helps families afford treatment for childhood cancer.
Cameron The Public is led by Rafati, who is a Utah native. The band is on the rise and has been featured in many national publications and music blogs as a must-see group. Their song "Unstoppable" was the theme song for ABC Family's Unstoppable summer promotion. CTP is a dynamic pop rock group with a stellar stage presence, bursting with energy.
